connecting cultures through travel
We believe our journeys should respect the environment and benefit the people whose lands we visit. Our commitment to socially and ecologically responsible travel begins with encouraging our handpicked accommodation to follow environmentally sound practices, support local communities and
source locally. Our guests are provided responsible travel guidelines to ensure they are aware of local customs and encourage them to undertake experiences that benefit and improve the livelihood of local communities such as dining out of hotels, spending a night at a homestay and shopping from traditional artisans. Our office also follows reduce, reuse and recycle initiatives.
A rather belated thank you from me to you and the office for organising such a wonderful trip. Everyone loved it and for Elodie, Jamie and Pia it has started up a new country which they want to see more of. As always everything was beautifully organised and despite the curfew we had the most wonderful relaxing trip on Dal lake.

We spoke this morning and I just wanted to confirm how well our trip went. We were very fortunate to have Amrit as our driver. He really looked after us. He was a very good and safe driver, pointed out places on our travels, and really looked after us. I would give him the highest recommendation of our trip- he helped to make it special. Our guide Lalit in Udaipur was also excellent and we felt fortunate to have a priest guide us in the Rakanpur temple. He was so informative. We loved the heritage walk in Jaipur - that was one of the highlights. Our guide was also very good and took a real interest in what we wanted to see. His name was Madhau. Arun in Bundi was excellent - lovely accommodation and the cookery demonstration was fun. We had an excellent guide Arvind to show us Bundi. Dillip was an excellent representative in Agra and sorted out the best tour for us and helped at the railway station which was rather chaotic. He organised Sheila to guide us in Agra and she was good. And we were lucky enough to see 2 tigers in Ranthambore with an excellent and interesting guide.

Uniformly reliable, friendly and helpful. Ashish was waiting for us as soon as we arrived. At the end Mayank shepherded us to our flight as far as he was allowed. He was new to the job but most solicitous. Whenever we rang Bridging Journeys staff they responded to our concerns quickly and effectively. All this inspired us with confidence and we knew that we did not have to worry about anything.
